The Cotton Bowl ticket prices are about to go up even more, according to a new report from The Washington Examiner.
The article reported that Cotton Bowl tickets for this year’s Cotton Bowl have been set at a whopping $20,000, up from $12,000 in 2018.
The new prices are based on the expected performance of the bowl’s teams, according the report.
The most notable change in the price of Cotton Bowl seating is that the price for a bowl-seat ticket now includes a blanket for the bowl.
Previously, Cotton Bowl seats could be purchased in blankets.
Cotton Bowl officials have not commented on the new prices, but they have indicated that the bowl is looking to increase revenue in order to expand the seating capacity.
The price increase will affect the number of Cotton Bowl seats for every team that makes the bowl, according The Examiner.
In 2018, Cotton Bountons attendance stood at just over 19,000 fans per game, and that figure was projected to rise to over 23,000 for the 2019 bowl season.
However, Cotton’s bowl season is projected to be much shorter than 2018, with only five games scheduled.
According to The Washington Times, Cotton is expected to have about 20,000 tickets sold in 2019, which would mean that the bowls average attendance would increase by around 1,000 per game.
It is important to note that Cotton’s average bowl attendance is expected only to go down as the season goes on.
