Cotton paddy is the staple crop in India, and cotton is used to make everything from textiles to clothing.
But the world’s third-largest economy has become a cotton exporter as the world has become increasingly reliant on the crops for its livelihood.
The UK, Australia and China all rely on cotton for much of their livelihoods, and are struggling to cope with the economic fallout.
Cotton production has declined by more than half in the past decade.
But the global economy has largely stopped growing, and the world economy is now facing a slowdown.
The problem is especially acute in India and China, where both nations depend heavily on cotton production.
India’s economy grew 7.2 per cent in the first quarter of this year, but the economy contracted by more 25 per cent between 2014 and 2017.
China is struggling with a severe drought, with its agricultural output dropping by nearly 25 per of the country’s total output.
But China is also struggling to get its farmers to grow cotton.
While cotton production in India is declining, the world is getting more dependent on the crop.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has said that a growing number of people are relying on the staple to survive.
The global cotton crisis is one of the biggest crises facing the world today.
What to know about cotton and its role in the world Cultivators in India are growing cotton at a rate of about 6,000 tonnes per day, a level that is expected to double by 2020.
The country’s main export is the cotton boll weevil, which can be used in everything from pesticides to cosmetics.
This is why the government is investing heavily in planting cotton, says Sunil Joshi, the director of the Centre for Agricultural Research at the University of Texas.
In India, the main use of cotton is to make clothing.
India is the world leader in the use of the boll insect, with more than 10 million hectares of cotton produced in the country each year.
As the bolls decline in the United States, they are being harvested to make cotton.
However, because the bols are farmed for their leaves, they have to be kept alive to ensure they do not become pests, Joshi says.
India’s farmers are also getting increasingly frustrated with the growing amount of cotton being used.
In some parts of the world, farmers are finding it impossible to find enough cotton to plant.
India’s cotton is being grown for the purpose of textile production and for textile products, such as cotton-based fabrics, cotton socks and cotton underwear.
The use of bolls in the production of cotton for textile and textiles is growing.
This is the main reason why India is going through this crisis, says Sudhir Raman, professor at the Centre of Agricultural Research.
“When you think about cotton production, you realise that cotton is a very important crop for the world because it is used for textiles, garments and even as a fuel,” he says.
“The reason why it is so important is because of the amount of food it provides.
It is used as a raw material to make steel, aluminium, aluminium-coated pipes and more.”
Cotton is also a very expensive crop, with prices in the hundreds of dollars per kilogram, which is a lot of money for farmers,” Raman adds.”
We are seeing a lot more people buying cotton as the price is not much.
It’s also becoming very important for the country as the bogs are drying up,” he adds.
Why is cotton becoming a cotton importer?
The UK is the second largest cotton exporer in the global south.
But this is due to the fact that cotton prices in Britain are very low, compared to other parts of Europe.
In India, cotton prices are high.
According to the World Bank, cotton production accounted for around 30 per cent of the economy in 2017, and its price is rising.
For most countries, the cotton industry is one part of a much larger economy.
In the United Kingdom, the textile industry is estimated to account for between 15 per cent and 20 per cent.
In China, the industry accounts for more than a quarter of the industry, and it has a lot to do with the countrys economic growth.
A lot of cotton has been grown in the last decade, mainly in China.
But as the cotton fields have dried up, China is increasingly looking to other markets.
China is now the world-leading exporter of cotton, but it has also become a major producer of cotton-related products, including paper, footwear and food.
It now has a major role in exporting cotton to other countries.
How to get rid of cotton?
A lot of people in India want to use cotton for its own purposes, like clothing.
However, the use and value of cotton are very different from other commodities.
