Cotton bowl from Cotton Hill, New York

By John RitterPosted January 02, 2019 10:03:04I grew up in the small town of Cotton Hill.

My parents lived there.

They had an outdoor patio that they used to have a lot of fun and they would have a picnic and I would watch them and the kids, and it would always be this big family gathering.

And then in the summertime, it would get cold, and the picnic would start and it was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m gonna be freezing cold here for an hour, and my friends will be at their house and we’re going to be having a picnic,’ and we’d have a big family picnic, and then it would end and we would get back to our houses.

But this was all part of the fun.

And so I would see these little kids come up from outside, and they were just playing outside, so I’d say, ‘Hey, what’s going on?’

And then one of them would say, `We just found the cotton bowl.’

And I would say: `Why the cotton?’

And they’d say: ‘Because we got some cotton and we need some water.’

So we got out of there and I just remember thinking, Wow, I gotta find that.

I just didn’t know what else to do with it.

So we ended up finding it on our front lawn.

I’d just take it in and wash it, but we ended not needing any more water, and so we got it out and put it in the cotton field.

So it was a great memory, because it was just a great experience.

And so, a couple of years ago, I saw this on the news, a cotton bowl.

I didn’t think it was that big.

I was like: ‘What is that?’

And I thought, ‘This is so cool, this is so neat.

This is the kind of thing that people are going to go to find and collect.’

And so I went out and found it, and I’m like, Oh, wow, I think this might be something for me.

And I started collecting cotton bowls.

And eventually, I realized I wanted to keep it for myself, because I was going to keep buying cotton bowls and I was kind of hoping I might sell it, because at that point, I thought it was cool.

And the next thing I know, it’s in my collection, and there are so many bowls in it, that I’m very proud of it.

I don’t think I have a cotton bowls collection.

I think I had one, maybe.

I don’t know.

I guess I might have a couple, maybe two, I don, know.

But I think it’s a cool collection.

And one day, I found this on eBay.

And it’s really cool.

I thought: ‘Oh, this really cool.’

So I picked it up, and on eBay, they sold it for like $300, which is pretty high.

I bought it, I have it now.

And I’m just happy to have it.

I love it.

It’s a nice little bowl.

It just fits my lifestyle.

It looks nice.

I can use it.

And there’s a couple more bowls in the collection, too.

I have two more bowls that I have that I need to keep for my kids.

So I’m kind of happy to keep collecting, because when you’re collecting something for yourself, you’re kind of like a collector’s item.

And to have that for my children, they’re like, Thank you very much.

I’m really grateful for that.
