The Cotton Lounge at the Cotton Bar, on Victoria Street, will open on December 16, according to the Brisbane Times.
It will be the first Cotton Lounge in the CBD.
The lounge will be a cotton-themed bar with seating for about 200.
The owner, Cedric Cotton, said it was a unique location in the city.
“It’s a bar that will cater to a diverse audience, a diverse group of people, and we want it to feel like a place that welcomes everyone,” he said.
“We want it not just for the casual, but for those that are passionate about music, art and design.”
We’ve been thinking about it for a while.
We wanted to make a place where people from all walks of life can come and enjoy a great evening.
“Cotton Lounge is an exciting project for us, and this is the perfect time to put it into action.”
The Cotton Bar has been a part of the city for over 20 years and will be open on Saturday nights and Sundays.
It is currently known for its eclectic selection of music, including hip hop, soul and blues.
The Cotton Club is also opening on December 8 and is expected to open on January 3.
It also has a cafe and music venue.
The first Cotton Bar will be in the area of Macquarie Street and Kingsland Street.
